Profiles you control, field by field
Your profile is how people recognise you, and you decide who sees each part of it. Profiles are encrypted like messages: the server stores them, but can’t read them.
Just a username to start
An account needs a username and a password – no phone number, email address or real name. The server never learns your username either, only a hash of it.
Visibility per field
Choose who can see your name, picture, banner and bio. You can share more with contacts and less with everyone else, and change it any time.
Online and last seen are opt-in
If you turn it on, online status and last seen are mutual and limited to the audience you choose. They’re relayed, never stored.
Profile links
Share a link to your profile so people can start a chat with you without having to type your username.

Messaging
Text, photos, files, voice, reactions, replies and disappearing messages – encrypted on your device before they leave it. Only you and the people you write to can read them.
Groups and communities
Private groups and whole communities: channels, categories, custom roles, invite links with approval, slow mode and moderation – with no member limit on any plan.
Bots
Create bots in Bot Studio and run them with the Bot API and the @tacenza/bot SDK for Node.js. Bots get their own keys, and the server stays as blind to them as to people.
