End-to-end encrypted messaging
Everything you’d expect from a modern messenger, in one-to-one chats and groups. Each message is encrypted on your device before it leaves, so the server only ever relays and stores ciphertext.
Everything you send
Write the way you already do. TACENZA Chat handles the formats you use every day.
- Text with replies, reactions, edits, pins and threads

- Live location for 15 minutes, 1 hour, 8 hours or until you stop
Disappearing and deleting
Set messages to disappear after anything from 5 minutes to 7 days, per chat. Delete for everyone removes a message from every device in the chat.
Protected chats
For conversations that need more care, a chat can turn off copying and forwarding and add a watermark to photos. The Windows app keeps its window out of screenshots and screen recordings. A web page can’t block screenshots, so by default protected chats can only be read in the desktop app – and we say so in the app.
Who can reach you
People you haven’t written to land in a message requests folder, not your chat list. Blocking happens on your device, and safety numbers let you confirm that your messages are encrypted to the person you think – if someone’s keys ever change, the chat locks until you’ve checked again.

Groups and communities
Private groups and whole communities: channels, categories, custom roles, invite links with approval, slow mode and moderation – with no member limit on any plan.
Profiles
A TACENZA profile with a name, picture, banner and bio – encrypted, with per-field visibility, so you decide exactly who sees what. No phone number or email needed.
Bots
Create bots in Bot Studio and run them with the Bot API and the @tacenza/bot SDK for Node.js. Bots get their own keys, and the server stays as blind to them as to people.
