Reserve the name you want before TACENZA Chat opens. You don’t give us an email address or a password: your browser makes a claim key, and at launch that key lets you create your account with this name.

It’s the only way to use this name when TACENZA Chat opens. It was made in your browser and we only keep a fingerprint of it, so we can’t show it again, send it to you or recover it. Anyone who has it can take the name.
What happens next
- When TACENZA Chat opens, create your account with this username.
- Enter your claim key when Chat asks for it. Without it, nobody can create an account with this name – including you.
- You choose your password then, on your own device. Your messages are encrypted from the first one.
Unused claims are kept until launch. We’ll say on the blog how long they’re held after that.
Hear when TACENZA opens Optional
Leave an email address and we’ll send one message when TACENZA Chat opens, then delete the address. It’s stored on its own: it isn’t linked to any name you claim.
