Private communication, built to know as little as possible
TACENZA is made by CARTIQO for privacy-minded people and communities, starting in Denmark and the EU. People who want the groups and chats they know – without a platform that reads them.
TACENZA. is a CARTIQO. product. Its apps make no requests to anyone else: no analytics, no fonts or scripts from third parties.
What we believe
- The server stays blind. A feature that would teach the server something new is opt-in, explained where you switch it on, and reversible.
- Say what happens. Every setting and every destructive action states its consequence in plain words, and every action gives feedback.
- Everyday first. Chatting and communities must feel as quick and familiar as mainstream apps. The security never gets in the way.
- Honest limits. When something can’t be done privately, we say so instead of faking it.
- Two languages, equal quality. The apps work in English and Danish, and Danish is never an afterthought.
Where TACENZA is today
TACENZA Chat
Working towards 1.0: an installable web app, a Windows desktop app and our own backend. Usernames can be claimed now.
TACENZA Mail
In development. The first parts are built – shared addresses, encryption, team settings – and sign-up opens when it’s ready.
Before 1.0
A security review of Chat is planned before 1.0, and forward secrecy after it. Until then, the known limits are written down.
